# Managing Your Messages: How to Adjust Text and Email Preferences

## Select "Communications Preferences" in the Petszel pet portal menu and toggle the button to turn on or off.

#### **How to Manage Your Communication Preferences on Petszel**

Want to control which updates you get from Petszel or your adoption organization? You can easily manage your communication preferences right from the app—whether you're using a phone, tablet, or laptop.

### Accessing Communication Preferences

- Find your **welcome email or text** from **“Petszel”** and click the **“Pet Owner App”** link to log into your account.
- Once logged in, navigate to **Account** on the left-hand side menu.
- Scroll to Communication Preferences

### Turning Notifications On or Off

- Simply **toggle** the switch next to each communication type

**💡Tip:** Staying subscribed ensures you don’t miss important updates and post-adoption surveys from your shelter or rescue—many of which help improve support for you and your pet.

You’re always in control—and you can change your settings anytime!

- We provide a link in all **emails** where you can easily opt out.
- You also have the option to **text STOP** to discontinue texts at any time.
