How do I connect Shelterluv to the Petszel API?

Just fill out the Shelterluv form to get your API key and add it in your Petszel shelter dashboard.

To connect your Shelterluv account with Petszel, you’ll need to request an API key from the Shelterluv team. It’s fast and easy!

  1. Request your API key from Shelterluv. Fill out this form to request your API key: Shelterluv API Request Form. Shelterluv will email you the credentials.
    1. When completing the form, in the section that asks for "Provider/ Website" select "Other". 
    2. In the "Description" field, select "Petszel"

  1. Add the credentials in your Petszel dashboard. 

    1. Log in to your Petszel dashboard with the username and password you signed up with.
      1. Go to Integration Settings > Add Integration

        1. In the flyout menu, select Shelterluv from the Shelter Management Software dropdown. Enter API key:
        2. Click Validate. Then Save.
