How do I use the Adoptions List?

Read the columns, filter and sort the list, and act on adoptions that need attention.

The Adoptions List shows every recent adoption with its survey check-ins, triage status and assigned staff, so your team can see who needs attention right now. Open it from Adoptions in the left navigation.

Find the pets that need you

  • Triage Status: show only pets with a given status, such as Needs Contact.
  • Check In Status: show pets whose surveys flagged a Medical, Behavioral or General issue. You can pick several types at once.
  • Assigned Staff: show one person's caseload, or pets nobody is assigned to.
  • Filters work together. For example, Needs Contact plus your name shows the pets waiting on you.

Sort the list: click the Adoption Date, Triage Date or Assigned To header. Click it again to go back.

Take action from the list

  • Click a triage status to change it (see Triage statuses and assigning follow-up).
  • Click the name under Assigned To to assign someone.
  • Click a check-in icon to read that survey.
  • Click a pet's name to open its profile, or hover a row and click the adopter's name.
