How does TeleAdvice work and what can you assist with?

Petszel TeleAdvice gives pet parents 24/7 access to veterinary professionals via video, live chat, or phone to get help with medical concerns, emergencies, and common post-adoption questions.

Petszel TeleAdvice provides pet parents 24/7 access to veterinary professionals via video, live chat, or phone. If an adopter has a question or concern, they simply reach out to Petszel TeleAdvice through their Petszel web app using whichever method they prefer – video, live chat, or phone. Adopters are able to receive guidance on a host of topics.  Here are a few examples:

  • Worried about an emergency? We can help your adopters decide whether an injury or illness necessitates a trip to the ER or if it can wait for a regular veterinary appointment.
  • Does the pet have something else going on? We advise on a number of topics, including sneezing and coughing, allergies, pain and arthritis, vomiting and diarrhea, ear and skin issues, lumps and bumps, dental health, trembling and shaking, urinary health, and much more.
  • Have questions about acclimating a new pet to the home?  The Petszel TeleAdvice team can offer guidance and tips for this and other common post-adoption issues.
